Property management
There is a wide range of ways to show off your members’ properties and increase listings database.
Listings syndication with major Real Estate Search Engines.
Your listings can be automatically submitted to major listing databases such as Trulia, Google Base, Zillow and more. More people will see your listings. More traffic will come into your site. It's automatic. It's free. Your clients will be happy to know their listing is seen by hundreds of people every day. This ensures that potential buyers can find and review your site properties and listings nationwide from your real estate website.
If you don’t have your own database of listings yet, you can now populate search results of your website by listings from other resources. Currently such syndication is available with Vast.com and Oodle.com API programs.
Another way to increase your site listings database is RETS (an open standard for exchanging real estate information). It’s necessary to specify RETS login information the MLS or your client has provided you, choose a property class and run the process to have listings imported.
Property description
Property description is made up by a wide list of characteristics that can be broadened or limited via administrator's panel.
Photos and videos can be added to a listing. It is possible to upload multiple images at a time; set the order of images display, choose the one that will be displayed as default and add comments. Images are displayed with your site's watermark (either logo or some text) that prevents stealing your site listings content.
Videos added to a listing are stored in .flv format. Your site visitors thus will view video files right on the listing page without opening a popup window. Videos from video portals like YouTube can be embedded.
Virtual Tour feature allows creating property panoramic tours. Tours are composed of panoramic images or SWF files. Listings with linked virtual tours receive as much as 40% more views than those without virtual tours!
Each listing has a printable version, 'share' option and an option to add a listing to a comparison list. Rental listings include internal calendar that displays booked and available days.
Posting a listing can be paid or free. If you decide to charge site members for posting listings, it is possible to charge them for membership in a paid group to be able to post listings or charge site members for each listing or a certain number of listings for sale/lease. If you enable option to charge members for posting listings for sale and for lease, you can enter a number of free trial listings and period of activity for a listing.
Listing owners can mark a listing as 'Sold' or 'Leased'.
Site members can import or export their listings with listing images.
URL rewriting option (mod_rewrite) provides shorter and more relevant-looking links to web pages, makes website URLs more descriptive, improves user-friendliness and search engine optimization.
Maps
Site administrator can choose a web mapping service application which will be used for displaying property location - Google Maps, Yahoo Maps, Microsoft Virtual Earth or Yandex Maps.
The following advanced options are available if Google Maps is set up:
- Google amenities display on the map. Administrator can choose types of objects that will be displayed on the map along with the selected property: Restaurants, Shops, Hospitals, Fitness Centers etc with custom icons added.
- Google Driving Directions option. The option allows getting driving directions from one location to another.
- Possibility to change location of a property on a map. The new feature lets you fix inaccurate address: you just have to move the marker and choose a new location.
- Advanced Google Maps settings. Administrator can choose what map types will be available, set a default one, enable/disable search bar, set map zoom level, local amenities markers management, set permissions for site members on Google Maps management in their listings etc.
